Cherry blossoms aren’t just beautiful; they’re a symbol of renewal, fleeting beauty, and elegance in Japanese culture. Inspired by the gentle pink petals and the strength of Naruto’s Sakura, Sakura Smash is a cocktail that’s both bold and sweet. It hits with floral notes, a touch of fruit, and just enough fizz to keep it playful. Perfect for spring vibes or any time you want a drink that looks as good as it tastes.

The star of the show is cherry blossom syrup, which brings delicate floral notes and a hint of sweetness. Combined with fresh strawberries, gin (or vodka), and a splash of soda, it’s a drink that captures both strength and sweetness — just like Sakura herself.
Ingredients
• 40ml Gin (or Vodka)
• 20ml Cherry Blossom Syrup (or Grenadine + rosewater)
• 20ml Lemon Juice
• 4–5 Fresh Strawberries (or strawberry purée)
• Soda Water (to top)
• Edible flower or pink sugar rim (for garnish)
Method
1. Prepare your syrup: If you don’t already have cherry blossom syrup, see the Sakura Burst recipe to make your own.
2. Muddle the fruit: Add fresh strawberries (or strawberry purée) to a shaker and muddle gently.
3. Shake: Add gin (or vodka), cherry blossom syrup, and lemon juice with ice. Shake well.
4. Strain: Double strain into a wine glass filled with ice.
5. Finish & garnish: Top up with soda water and add an edible flower or pink sugar rim for a beautiful presentation.
Moe’s Tip
Add edible glitter to make your Sakura Smash truly magical — it’ll shimmer in the glass and wow anyone you serve it to.
